So last night, I re-watched The Adventures of Huck Finn (1993), an adaptation of Mark Twain's novel, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn", on my laptop, which brought my memories of my childhood back. I intended to watch it because I want to drown myself into nostalgic moment indeed. I watched this great film for the first time on my TV, on RCTI, when I was an elementary student, when I got a long year-end holidays. This film is one of my favorites & I still can feel something very special in it. The soundtrack was really brilliant & I can remember it perfectly in my mind (and always let my imaginations to take flight whenever I hear it), hence I think it could be one of the best film soundtracks I've ever heard.
Starred Elijah Wood as Huck Finn, with his remarkable acting, this film tells about Huck Finn, a kid in the 19's century who has a drunk father & a slave friend named Jim. He runs away from home & meets that runaway slave friend too. They experience adventures along the way of their pursuit of freedom, go to Cairo, a city which is connected with their hometown by the Mississippi River.

Huck Finn is naughty boy yet smart & has a big-heart.
Huck Finn disguises as Sarah (or) Marry Williams, haha.
It's always so damn troublesome doing right & so damn easy doing wrong.
Jim: "True blue Huck Finn, my best, and my only friend."
Along the journey too, Huck Finn starts to distinguish between right & wrong, and is taught that just because an idea is popular, like slavery or racial issues, it doesn't make it right.
I haven't read the novel & plan to read it after my final exam. Maybe the novel, which is very popular, will give me a new viewpoint & remain a beautiful soul experience just like the film did, which had touch my heart as a little kid. This film will be one of my best collections & I wanna share it to my children someday haha. A good thing will be immortal, they are timeless.
