Finally I started to learn digital coloring yesterday. Before this, I've always colored the drawings with one layer, no effects, no tricks. Most of them are just because I was "kepepet" to color the drawing. I was impressed by my friend's drawing & planed to learn it after midterm exam (I bought a sketchbook after the last exam finished XD). After learn some tutorials (it really helps me a lot!), here we go, these are my drawings.
I've made 2 drawings, used SAI Paint Tool. The first one pic was taken from my old archive on deviantart. I tried to paint it with mouse & it was difficult to get steady line in the first try.
Smiley Girl - original pic was taken from my old archive
Today, I also made one. After the first try last night, I got an idea how mouse user like me can get the tidier drawing. I tried to soften the shade too. Yeah, still not as tidy as the expert, but it's getting better. :)
Full Moon Miki - I tried to draw & paint her XD
Drawing & coloring like this make me feel like I am back to my childhood, haha. Btw I still have several tasks to do before the deadline (both school & WK). Seems I wanna get those tasks after I post this.
Maybe because this is something new, I think I have an excessive passion for writing & managing this blog. Actually this is not literally new for me. I often feel very passionate about something & then lose it. Sometimes I wanna have a persistent & consistent passion, or, let's just call it a hobby.
As example, these comic strips was made for completing my intermediate accountancy task. My lecturer asked me to make something, everything, related to accountancy, & I decided to make comic strips considered that I'd continue the comic strips since I like drawing & creating story. But, I haven't created any comic strips yet afterwards.
More about accountancy comic strips just click here.
Beside those accountancy comic strips, I've made several comic strips about TVXQ. Yeah, those were made when I was addicted to TVXQ. Some of them:
Even I made a fan-art, their portrait in one of their singles, STILL.
And when I was in first grade of my college, I was interested in making animation. I've learned how to make animation, read the Anime Studio's pdf tutorial, & made a short animation, all in just a month.
Afterwards, I haven't made more animations yet. Yes, this is what you call unstable, or in a good way, exploring myself, the condition when I do something just to wanna know how far I'm interested in. :3
Currently, I'm getting addicted to Johnny Depp & English. And those addiction are walking in the same path! I think they are fulfilling each other. I can watch Johnny Depp movies & learn English in the same time. I think my addiction to these two is healthier than my previous addiction (when I was crazy about K-Pop things). LOL, I hope so. :D
My current desktop :D
See? Those are some of my self-actualization. There are still many hobbies remain. Though I can't do it everyday, sometimes when I have much time or just get bored, I will do it. I'm grateful because I have many hobbies that make my life more colorful. And several of them are really useful to reach my dreams, e.g. learning English. Hitting two birds with a stone, right?
Hm, I am thinking about establishing cooking as a hobby. I wanna be a good mother too in the future. :))
